Mercy. Betrayal. Forgiveness. Join us for our final reading of La Clemenza Di Tito on Sunday, November 23, 2:00–4:00 p.m. at the Minnesota Opera Center.

Set in ancient Rome, this opera tells the story of Emperor Tito, who is loved by the people for his just rule. When his close friend Sesto is manipulated by the jealous Vitellia into plotting Tito's assassination, the emperor ultimately chooses to forgive rather than punish his friend. Against the political and publicly-centered backdrop of the opera's plot, the drama is focused on the personal evolution of its main characters and how their motives and choices are influenced by the humility, decency, integrity, and moral strength of their ruling governmental leader.

Your ticket includes access to an afterparty with the cast, staff, and board members of ORP.
